DUTIES INCLUDE, but not limited to,

Physically inspecting a variety of residential and commercial structures to determine the presence of termites and other wood destroying organisms

Writing legible reports and making recommendations using the Zap WDO Code Book
Authoring notes, findings and recommendations when the code book in not specific to an uncommon situation
Create diagrams and graphs that indicate the type, degree and location of infestations
Communicate directly with homeowners, home buyers and their agents
Determining the costs, estimating the crew time
Coordinating with the crewperson to ensure that jobs are done legally, professionally and within specifications
Receiving and accounting for company funds
Maintain clean and orderly company issued equipment and vehicle at all times
Driving must be safe and courteous at all times, obeying by all traffic laws
Must wear company issued uniform

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to read, write and speak English
Have mathematical skills sufficient to permit calculations
Be able to figure and complete Zap Termite & Pest Control Inc. forms
A clean or good driving record
Must have a Branch III Pest Control Field Representative License

HELPFUL

Ability to become familiar with all types of wood destroying organisms
Good communication and personal skills necessary
Knowledge of current governmental agency rules and regulations
Some computer training or a willingness to learn

Chemically treating and/or repairing structural damage on a variety of commercial and residential structures
Ensuring that jobs are done legally, professionally and within specifications
Maintain company issued equipment and vehicle in a clean condition at all times
Driving must be safe and courteous at all times, obeying by all traffic laws
Must wear company issued uniform

HELPFUL

Be able to pass applicator testing given by Ag Department
Be able to become familiar with all types of wood destroying organisms, the damage they can do, and methods to effectively control them
Be able to understand current governmental agency rules and regulations
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Familiar with construction methods and terminology

This position requires full attendance and punctuality Monday through Friday and an occasional Saturday from 9am-1pm. This position requires a person to perform a wide variety of related job duties and responsibilities. With the general direction of the general manager and company controller, the clerical staff member is responsible for a variety of duties.

DUTIES INCLUDE

Receiving and delivering messages verbally and/or in writing
Answering telephones and directing persons and/or telephone calls to the appropriate department or person
Scheduling inspections and/or pest control jobs
Collecting past due receivables
Compiling data
Operating computers, knowledge MS Word, Excel, Outlook, use of a10 key calculator, fax machines, copiers, and any other equipment used to effect the efficient, timely operation of business

EXPECTATION

Must be able to read, write and speak English
Must wear company issued uniform, Zap Polo

Being able to control pest problems on residential and commercial accounts
Submit all paperwork and collections on a daily basis, NO EXCEPTIONS
Performs other administrative tasks at supervisor’s direction
Submit all other forms required on correct due dates
Driving must be safe and courteous at all times, obeying by all traffic laws
Must wear company issued uniform

Have a thorough working knowledge of or be able to be trained on, common household pests
Familiarity with or ability to learn SPCB rules and regulations, as well as MSDS and labeling information
Must have a branch 2 SPCB state license

Minimum of three years of pest control experience
