Pests we treat
- Ants: Argentine ants, odorous house ants and pavement ants that trail into kitchens and bathrooms. See ant control for more.

- Earwigs: common around damp mulch and planters, and they often come in under doors in spring and summer.

How general pest service works
We start by looking at where pests are showing up and how they are getting in. Treatment is focused on the outside of the structure, entry points such as door thresholds, weep screeds, vents and pipe gaps, and the indoor areas where activity shows up. We also point out conditions that draw pests in, like irrigation soaking the foundation, firewood against the wall, or dense ground cover along the house.
One-time or recurring service
A one-time service handles a current problem. Recurring service keeps treatment in place through the seasons, which helps with pests that come back every year, such as ants after the first fall rains or spiders in late summer. Ask about recurring service when you call, and we will talk through what fits your property.

Businesses and flies
We provide general pest service for restaurants, offices, property managers and other businesses, and we treat flies for commercial customers. Commercial properties can arrange special service hours. See commercial pest control for more.
What we do not handle
Zap does not do wildlife control. We handle insects, spiders, rats and mice, bed bugs and termites, but not raccoons, opossums, skunks, squirrels or birds.
